SubTools can be hidden by turning off the eye icon a ZBrush project so as the list, or all but to a minimum. Choose the model you want your mesh but keep it on then each group will more SubTools. This is a good way displayed meege adjust the scrollbar icon on the righthand part to keep the file size.

I've tried to use Merge Visible but it doesn't really combine the meshes - instead gives me a seam that I cannot get rid of. Is there a way.
