You can create your own MatCaps in various ways, including using the MatCap tool. MatCap Baker automates the process of capturing MatCap data from a UV'd model to a Texture Map. Process was originally covered in a Zbrush Zclassroom. MatCap Baker - Pixologic's ZBrush Plugin Matcap Baker allows for Materials inside of ZBrush to be baked to a Texture Map using a Subtool.
