I've sculpted a high poly mesh (dynamesh) with 2mil polys and then decimated it down to K. Then I ran 'close holes' to fix any tearing. As of killing the noise I used Zbrush "smooth" and height map de-noising in Photoshop, some AI denoisers in pictures. But anyway they degrade. ZREMESHMODEL: lowest subdivision: remove large unwanted objects � Delete higher subdivisions if you made them (or freeze subdivisions?) � Close.

What is zbrush 2019

Live Boolean is non-destructive, and does not alter the original subtools the resulting fused subtool was made from. Go through the subdivision levels: start clean up where you first see the unwanted shape. Redo as necessary.
